One Of The Richest Temples In India Receives ₹900 Crore Donations In Just 11 Months!

Tirumala Tirupati, one of India’s wealthiest temples, has reportedly received donations of more than ₹900 crore in less than a year. The renowned temple welcomes more than three crore devotees every year, and the massive contributions highlight the temple’s enduring popularity and the devotion of its millions of visitors. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara Swamy, the temple at Tirumala is one of the most popular and richest Hindu temples across the country and the world. According to Hindustan Times, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) received a total of ₹918.6 crore in donations across its various trusts between November 2024 and October 2025.

While talking to Hindustan Times, TTD chairman BR Naidu said the temple trust has been receiving donations from both online and offline modes. Around ₹579.38 crore donations came through online channels, while ₹339.20 crore were donated by offline modes.

Donors Help In Construction & Technological Development Of The Temple

It is to be noted that TTD manages several trusts that support various charitable activities, including free food distribution, education, healthcare, and the preservation of Vedic learning. The highest donations for the temple trust came through Sri Venkateshwara (SV) Annadanam Trust, Srivani Trust, and Sri Balaji Aarogya Varaprasadini Scheme, which received ₹339 crore, ₹252 crore, and ₹98 crore, respectively.

As per the Hindustan Times report, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams also received donations through SV Pranadana Trust, SV Gosamrakshana Trust, SV Vidyadanam Trust, Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research & Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Trust, and SV Sarvashreyas Trust. That’s not all, they also got donations from SV Veda Parirakshana Trust, Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel, and Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences.

Beyond donations, many devotees are also contributing online to support temple construction, machinery upgrades, and technological advancements under the temple administration.
