PM Modi To Flag Off Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express
According to India Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the new Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express train on November 7. This new train aims to strengthen regional connectivity and boost tourism across the spiritual and historical towns of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It will connect Banda, Mahoba, Chitrakoot Dham, and Prayagraj, and give passengers a faster and more convenient mode of travel.
Stoppages, Travel Time & All You Need To Know About This New Route
As per the Railway Ministry’s official schedule, Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat will operate as Train No. 26422, and will depart from Varanasi at 5:25 AM. It will arrive at the Khajuraho station at 1:10 PM. On the return leg, Train No. 26421, will depart from Khajuraho at 3:20 PM and arrive in Banaras at 11 PM. It will operate six days a week, except on Thursdays.
This Vande Bharat will stop at the following stations –
Varanasi
Vindhyachal
Prayagraj Chheoki
Chitrakoot Dham
Banda
Mahoba
Khajuraho
The train will feature eight coaches in total–seven air-conditioned chair cars and one executive air-conditioned chair car.
