New Railway Projects Launched In Rajasthan
According to CNBC TV18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three new trains in Rajasthan today, that is, September 25. These trains include two Vande Bharat Express trains–Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt and Bikaner–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat trains–and a Udaipur City-Chandigarh Inaugural Special. These trains will significantly boost the connection between Rajasthan and the other northern states. The Bikaner–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat train will commence operations from September 28, 2025. Meanwhile, the Jodhpur–Delhi Vande Bharat will start from September 27, 2025.
All About Bikaner-Delhi Vande Bharat
As per The Indian Express, the Bikaner-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will cover a distance of 448 km in almost six hours, and will be the fastest train on the route. It will operate as train number 26471/22472. It will run six days a week, except Wednesday, with seven air-conditioned chair car coaches and one executive air-conditioned chair car coach.
It will depart from Bikaner at 5:40 AM and arrive in Delhi Cantt at 11:55 AM. On the return leg, the train will depart from Delhi at 4:45 PM and arrive in Bikaner at 11:05 PM. It will stop at the following stations on the route –
Shri Dungargarh
Ratanagarh
Churu
Sadulpur
Loharu
Mahendragarh
Gurgaon
Everything You Need To Know About Jodhpur-Delhi Vande Bharat
The Jodhpur-Delhi Vande Bharat will run as train numbers 26481/26482, and will cover a distance of 606 km in almost eight hours. It will also be the fastest train service on the route. The train will operate six days a week, except Tuesday, and will have air-conditioned chair car coaches and one executive air-conditioned chair car coach.
According to The Indian Express, the Vande Bharat train will depart from Jodhpur at 5:25 AM and arrive at Delhi Cantt at 1:30 PM. On the return leg, the train will leave the Delhi station at 3:10 PM, reach Jaipur at 7 PM, and finally arrive at the Jodhpur station at 11:20 PM. It will stop at the following stations –
Merta Road
Degana
Makrana
Phulera
Jaipur
Alwar
Rewari
Gurgaon
