From aesthetic cafés to endlessly long menus, Bengaluru’s food scene has always been buzzing. Adding to the fun, an Instagrammer has left the internet in splits with his spot-on “how to start a famous restaurant in Bengaluru” video. Check it out here.

Creator’s Video On How Restaurants Become Viral In Bengaluru

Instagrammer Kiran Kumar (@moreofkirankumar) shared a hilarious video on “how to start a famous restaurant in Bengaluru,” and netizens are loving how accurate it is. In the video, he discusses the “script of every viral restaurant in Bengaluru” and lists a few commonalities found in every new place emerging in the city.

“Step one is to rent the smallest place possible, no more than 13 seats! This is because if you let all the people inside who come to your restaurant, then there won’t be a crowd outside your restaurant, right? People should walk around and be like, “Oh! So many people are outside!”–that’s how there will be hype,” he said in the video.

He then said that one should open reservations for just one hour during a weekday, so people booking a slot should “struggle” and people feel important and get a feeling of “Oh, so many people are trying to get in this place!”

Kiran then took a dig at the food served at viral Bengaluru restaurants, where, although the food is basic, the aesthetics make it extremely tempting. “More than the taste of the food, what sells is how the food looks,” he went on to share in the video. His next advice is spending tons of money on social media marketing and making the food at the place sound super authentic and delicious.

“Finally, someone said it!” one user commented.

Another one added, “All these nano restaurants mushrooming everywhere! You said it.”
