Bollywood star and fitness queen Shilpa Shetty recently visited the sacred Trimbakeshwar Mandir in Nashik, Maharashtra. The temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, holds great importance for devotees. But that’s not all; the actress also enjoyed this famous street snack during her trip!
Shilpa Shetty Visits Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir
Shilpa Shetty is known to be a devotee of Lord Shiva. Her dedication is evident through her visits to several significant Shiva temples, including Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand and Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Recently, she visited another Lord Shiva shrine: Trimbakeshwar Mandir, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, along with her sister Shamita Shetty and friend Tina Bindra.
The shivling at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is different from other temples. It represents the Trimurti: Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Lord Shiva), within a single lingam, making the temple truly unique.
The actress shared glimpses of her visit with her followers on Instagram yesterday. Not just that, the Dhadkan actress also paid a visit to the Saptashrungi Temple in Nashik, which is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Saptashrungi Devi, a form of Maa Durga. This sacred temple is located on a hill surrounded by seven peaks!
