Shraddha Kapoor Turns Tourist In Mumbai; Enjoys Drive And Thali At THIS Kala Ghoda Spot

There is something amazing about turning a tourist in your own city. Actress Shraddha Kapoor did just that and took a break by enjoying a drive in Mumbai and having a thali at Chetana, an iconic place known for its thalis in Kala Ghoda, Fort, Mumbai.

Shraddha Kapoor, known for her work in Aashiqui 2, Stree, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and more, often shares moments from her life and food on social media with her fans. She recently turned a tourist in Mumbai and shared a glimpse of her day. Donning a casual top, she went for a drive and stopped at Chetana restaurant to enjoy vegetarian thalis.

She uploaded a picture of the thali, where we can see numerous dishes like curries, dal, papad, farsan, rice, sweets, lassi and more on the table. And honestly, each dish looked tempting enough to make us order a thali for ourselves too. Her caption under the post read, “Khudki city mein tourist bane ho kabhi ???”

Chetana Is Known For Its Vegetarian Thalis

For those who don’t know, Chetana is an iconic place located in Kala Ghoda, Fort, in Mumbai. It is known for its Gujarati, Maharashtrian and Rajasthani thalis. Moreover, its wholesome, home-style vegetarian meals feature dishes like sabzis, dal, farsan, kadhi, rotis, khichdi, mithai, jaljeera and more. 

According to the official Chetana website, the place was started in 1946 as a centre focused on Indian food, philosophy, religion and arts. Over the years, it developed its focus on Gujarati and Rajasthani food and introduced sit-down thali services. 

Many people return here for the delectable food, beautiful presentation, warm atmosphere and cosy service. This may be the reason why Shraddha Kapoor chose to eat here on her day of being a tourist in Mumbai.
