Shruti Haasan Adopts New Cat
Shruti Haasan recently adopted a six-month-old orange cat named Ghost, also known as Aslan. The kitten was reportedly give up by his previous family after the owner discovered childhood allergy after bringing him home. The family had purchased the cat from a breeder and kept him for nearly a month before deciding they could no longer care for him.
The story was shared by events coordinator Jisy Joseph, who had been taking care of the rescued kitten after he was surrendered on April 5. She took to her social media handle to share some adorable images of the actress with the cat. Sharing the update online, Jisy revealed that Aslan had finally found a forever home with Shruti Haasan.

What Actress Shared About Her New Cat?
After adopting the cat and bringing him home, Shruti Haasan took to her Instagram Stories to share the pictures. Along with that, she also added a note saying, “Adoption is love. One more blessing in my life. Welcome Aslan Haasan to your forever home.” This inspiring story of pet adoption and the adorable way Shruti welcomed the cat has gone viral on the internet. Many pet lovers are showing their love.
This is not the first time Shruti has rescued and adopted a cat. Previously, she also introduced her cat Clara. She revealed that Clara and another cat named Cora were rescued in 2018.
