This is one of the significant road projects in Pune and aims to bring huge relief to commuters who travel daily through Sinhagad Road. It is one of Pune’s busiest stretches.

How Will This New Flyover Help

Travel and Tour World reported that officials believe that the new flyover will reduce the travel time between Funtime Theatre and Vitthalwadi. It will save approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Moreover, previously vehicles had to stop at nine busy junctions on Sinhagad Road, which caused long traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Now, with the launch of the new flyover, cars can move continuously over these intersections without stopping.

Apart from commuters, it will also benefit the local businesses. It will improve the movement of goods and services, and it is also expected that the Sinhagad Road double-decker flyover will boost tourism in the city.

There were several times when the development of this new flyover was delayed. But now it’s completed and is considered one of the significant factors in Pune’s infrastructure. For many travellers, the launch of the new flyover marks the beginning of smooth and quick travelling for long distances. Along with reducing traffic, the flyover will also play a crucial role in reducing fuel consumption and pollution.
