A man recently took to social media to complain about how Class 10 students who were travelling to Manali on a train lacked civic sense. He also uploaded a video showing the mess left behind by the students, consisting of plastic wrappers, empty plastic bottles and much more in the coach. The visuals of the dirty train coach have naturally angered netizens over this carelessness.
Students Travelling To Manali Leave Train Coach Dirty
A video posted by Vikrant Krishnarao Thakre on Instagram is going viral on social media, showing a train coach full of trash, including empty biscuit wrappers, water bottles and even food bags and blankets lying on the floor. According to the man who posted the video, this mess was left behind by a group of Class 10 students who were travelling to Manali, Himachal Pradesh, for their school trip.
The man, Vikrant, even requested the students to pick up the trash and clean the surroundings. But apparently, the students did not pay any heed to his advice. Vikrant told the students that this behaviour is not right as the train is public property and they should dispose of the trash properly.

Netizens Angry Over Lack Of Civic Sense
Not just that, Vikrant also complained that these students are the ones who will go on to post about such things on social media in the future. At the end of the video, he adds that, “I am not blaming them, but they should have a basic knowledge of not littering their surroundings.”
The video has naturally angered netizens. One user wrote, “These must be some entitled boys,” while another user commented, “No civic sense at all.” A third user suggested that Indian Railways should look into the matter and issue fines for things like these so that people think multiple times before littering train coaches. One comment also read, “Cleanliness has to be part of the school curriculum. The mindset is that it’s someone else’s job to clean and that cleaning public places is a demeaning job.”
