The new platform is available in more than 20 vernacular languages, including Hindi, Kannada and Telugu. Read on to know more about this.

Swiggy Launches A 24×7 AI Assistant, Guru

Rolling out across 720+ cities, Guru is expected to benefit over 2.7 lakh restaurant partners, from neighbourhood kitchens to multi-outlet businesses. Guru allows restaurant partners to manage several aspects of their business through a single conversational chat. Partners can start, review and modify advertising and discount campaigns using simple prompts, without navigating multiple tools.

The AI assistant can also evaluate a restaurant’s sales funnel, GMV and orders, recognising areas that may be underperforming and suggesting ways to improve them. It tracks sales, orders, average order value (AOV) and more than 30 other metrics over time to provide performance insights. Restaurant partners can also use Guru to access detailed payout information, including tax reports and payout summaries.

The platform is designed to provide restaurants with quick answers to operational queries while helping them understand what is working and where improvements may be needed.

Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said AI is reshaping how businesses operate and that integrating it into restaurant partners’ everyday workflows was a natural next step for the company. He added that Guru aims to offer 24×7 support, faster query resolution and actionable performance insights to help restaurant partners grow their businesses.
