Swiggy’s Food On Train Service Now Available At 122 Stations; 4 Day Pre-Order Option Also Added

Swiggy’s Food on Train service just got a major upgrade, making train travel a lot more convenient, and of course, more delicious! The platform has expanded its service to 122 stations across India, allowing passengers to order their favourite meals with ease. Scroll on to know more about this.

Swiggy Expands Its Food On Train To 122 Stations

Swiggy has expanded its Food on Train service to 122 stations across India. As per the press release, the new stations include Anantpur (Andhra Pradesh), Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Alwar (Rajasthan), Kozhikode (Kerala), Khurda Road (Odisha), Yesvantpur (Karnataka), and Gonda (Uttar Pradesh).

What’s more, travellers can now pre-book their food on the train up to 96 hours before the journey, a big jump from the earlier 24-hour window, ensuring timely, hassle-free deliveries right to their seats. This expansion aims to offer greater choice, better reliability, and a far more enjoyable dining experience on long train rides.

Festive Season Saw Massive Demand

The growing popularity of Swiggy’s Food on Train service was evident during the recent festive rush. Between October 16 and November 3, 2025, as millions travelled home to celebrate, the platform helped passengers enjoy their favourite festive flavours even while on the move.

As per Swiggy’s data, biryani emerged as the most-ordered food by passengers on trains. Following close behind, dishes like Masala Dosa, Burger, Pav Bhaji, Margherita Pizza & Corn Chaat were some other top favourites.

During the festive period, travellers gravitated toward a mix of iconic regional spots and popular national chains. Favourites included Haldiram’s, Paradise Biryani, A2B, Hotel Aryaas, Annai Restaurant, Rominus Pizza & Burger, and McDonald’s.

35% of travellers who used the Food on Train app during the festive season ordered at least one sweet or dessert with their meal. Triple Chocomelt Waffle, Tender Coconut Ice Cream, Gulab Jamun, Biscoff Cheesecake Jar, Rasgulla, and Black Forest Pastry were some of the top favourites!
