Bringing this idea to life, The Neighbourhood Festival (TNF) is returning for its second edition from September 30 to October 4, with events spread across Bandra, Khar and Santacruz. The Neighbourhood Festival Is Coming To Mumbai With Its Second Edition
The five-day festival will feature more than 20 headlining acts and over 100 experiences across music, comedy, art, food, conversations and community activities. Instead of bringing everything to a single festival ground, TNF follows a hyperlocal, multi-venue format, allowing visitors to move between independent spaces and experience different parts of the neighbourhood.
This year’s festival will also feature a flea market with more than 40 stalls across four venues in Bandra, Khar and Santacruz. Art lovers can explore two special exhibitions, A Neighbourhood: Then & Now at 3 Art House and Karkis of Kumaon at Chyndy in Bandra. The second edition will explore the theme ‘The Neighbourhood Archive’, looking at the lesser-known histories of Bandra and Khar. The project will draw from archival photographs, historical records and oral histories to document how the neighbourhoods have changed over the years.

The initiative will bring together stories and memories from long-time residents, artists, shopkeepers, restaurateurs and other members of the community, creating a living archive of the areas and the people who have shaped them.
What Can All Guests Expect?
The festival’s entertainment line-up will include Gini, Anoushka Maskey, Sahil Shah, Gurbax and Suggahunny in its music programming. Comedy and performance acts will include Rohan Joshi, Azeem Banatwalla, Abish Mathew, Prashasti Singh, Karunesh Talwar, Urooj Ashfaq, Chaitanya Tamhane and Yahya Bootwala.
Actor Imran Khan will also join the festival as a keynote speaker. The wider programme will feature conversations spanning film, literature, food and contemporary culture. Panels will explore topics including filmmaking, literature, ambition, money, relationships, careers and identity.

A food-focused conversation will bring together Mumbai chefs Gresham Fernandes, Lakhan Jethani, Anand Morwani and Niyati Rao to discuss the stories, memories and cultures behind the city’s food. Another session will look at how comedy helps people process an increasingly unusual news cycle. TNF will be hosted across venues including 3 Art House, Foot Locker, Gharaonda, Kold Karobar, Khar Comedy Club/Loft52, Foodsquare, The Den and Laguna. The festival is an initiative by 3 Art House, which provides a platform for emerging artists and creators through exhibitions, performances, workshops and events.
Community passes are currently available through the 3 Art House website, while tickets for headlining acts and select events are available through District and BookMyShow.
