MasterChef India Contestants Beat Chef Kunal In Potato Chain Challenge
In a recent episode of MasterChef India, contestants were given a unique challenge to create a chain using a single potato. One duo stood out during the task, who are also brothers, Ajinkya Gandhe and Vikram Gandhe. Each took one potato and, using a chef’s knife, carefully cut it with great precision. Their focus and teamwork impressed everyone in the kitchen.
The brothers cut the potatoes into rectangular shapes and neatly connected them to form a long chain. In total, they created a chain with 11 rectangular potatoes. Chef Kunal, who managed to make only seven, was surprised by their result. He praised their effort and even hugged them, appreciating their skill and dedication.

Who Is This Brother Duo On The Cooking Show?
Ajinkya and Vikram Gandhe are brother chefs from Nagpur who reached the Top 12 of MasterChef India Season 9 as a popular jodi. Vikram, 31, is an aeronautical engineer, while Ajinkya, 29, is an architect. And the amazing part is that, without formal culinary training, they learned cooking through passion and practice. Together, they run Place Bakehouse, a café in New Sneh Nagar, Nagpur, known for its delicious food and friendly atmosphere.
This season of MasterChef India has once again won hearts with inspiring duos and memorable challenges. Each story reflects passion, hard work, and a deep love for cooking. The potato chain challenge was one such moment that truly stood out and impressed viewers.
