Founder of Haldiram’s Nagpur, Shivkishan Agarwal’s family had the most royal wedding celebration that has now taken the internet as the ‘Haldiram wedding’. Recently, a member of Shivkishan Agrawal’s family recently got married in a grand wedding in Nagpur. There were many lavish and grand moments; one detail that truly caught the attention was the opulent Haldiram’s wedding cake.
All About The Royal Chandelier Cake
The wedding cake was created by The Cake Affair, Nagpur, a local bakery known for its specially curated and luxurious decorative artistry. As per the bakery’s Instagram post, the cake was custom-made for the Haldiram wedding. The unique part of the cake was that it was a hanging cake, and the team travelled 1,100 kilometres to deliver, assemble and serve this piece.
The cake was all about its royal details. With the white and golden hues, the 8-tier chandelier cake looked like a decorative piece indeed. In the video shared by the bakery, we can see the cake being brought down by a chandelier. The golden strap detailing and the pearl beads all around the cake added more charm to the massive cake. The cake truly stood out during the celebration because of how majestic it looked. It perfectly complements the festivities and mirrors the magnificent royal wedding.

Baked With Perfection
One of the main focuses that truly made the cake memorable was the idea of making it a chandelier cake. Every detail, from the fine finishes to the royal hanging touch, was handcrafted with a lot of effort and precision. The Cake Affair called this fine piece “baked with perfection”. As per the bakery, the idea behind the cake was to bring Nagpur City something they have never heard or witnessed.
Owned by Srusti Patre, the bakery is known for creating exclusive designs that stand out for their beautiful detailing and delicious taste. This is not the first time the bakery has served a chandelier cake. As seen on their Instagram, they served the similarly detailed hanging cake for another wedding.

The royal affair that took place over the weekend featured elaborate decorations. With towering floral arrangements, glistening ice sculptures and massive chandeliers, the wedding became a topic of discussion soon after the video was posted online. The video also captured Shahid Kapoor performing at the sangeet, followed by fireworks and pyrotechnics. The handcrafted cake was indeed the centrepiece of this royal wedding, capturing all the attention from all over India.
