Weddings are supposed to be occasions to enjoy good food, spend time with family, and celebrate two people tying the knot. However, that wasn’t the case in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, where one wedding took a chaotic turn, and it was all because of chicken fry! Here’s what happened.

An X user, @RISHABH79RAAZ, dropped a video where a happy wedding celebration turned into total chaos. This happened because of a fight between the bride and groom’s sides. During the nikah ceremony in Uttar Pradesh, guests from the groom’s side claimed they were not getting enough chicken fry. They felt the bride’s family was giving them smaller portions, and they were not happy with the way it was being served. Their complaints soon turned into anger, which created tension at the wedding, even though everything else was going smoothly till then.
To calm things down, the bride’s family tried to resolve the matter quickly. They brought extra pieces of chicken fry and served them to the guests. But instead of getting satisfied, the guests from the groom’s side made another allegation. They claimed they were not being served politely and respectfully, leading to another fight, reported India Today.

At Least 15 Injured In The Drama
Soon, the argument went out of control. The situation changed from a verbal argument to a physical fight. People started pushing and hitting each other. Many men rushed in to stop the fight and separate the groups, but the situation was too intense. The wedding venue almost looked like a battlefield instead of a place of celebration. Due to this, 15 people got injured and were taken to the hospital.
Because of the continuous fight, the nikah had to stop again and again. It was halted not once but three times because the arguments kept restarting. The noise and confusion shocked many present there.
According to India Today, in the end, local police were called. Police officers arrived at the venue and took charge of the situation. They controlled the crowd and spoke to both sides. After police intervention, the matter cooled down. Only then did the nikah finally take place peacefully. The authorities ensured the rest of the ceremony took place under police protection so that no further clashes occurred.
