Yatra Attracts Lakhs Of Pilgrims Every Year
According to The Times of India, Char Dham pilgrims should stay alert and be extra cautious while travelling in mountainous areas due to the weather sensitivity. Pilgrims and tourists are also advised to follow all guidelines and advisories issued by the administration and local authorities during the pilgrimage for a safe travel experience.
According to CNBC TV18, the IMD indicated light rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds along several pilgrimage routes. These include Rishikesh to Rudraprayag, Rudraprayag to Kedarnath Temple, Joshimath to Badrinath Temple, Uttarkashi to Gangotri Temple, and Barkot to Yamunotri Temple.
The state administration has directed all departments associated with the Char Dham Yatra to stay prepared and ensure proper safety arrangements for devotees. The annual Char Dham Yatra began last month. It attracts lakhs of pilgrims every year to Kedarnath Temple, Badrinath Temple, Gangotri Temple, and Yamunotri Temple.
