Porvorim Flyover To Open For A Public Walk
The Porvorim Flyover in Goa is all set to open for public use on September 10, 2026, but instead of vehicles using it first, people will get to enjoy a walk without any fear of getting hit. According to The Goan, as per the Public Works Department (PWD), people will be allowed to walk along the elevated stretch and get a closer look at the impressive infrastructure project.
This unique experience will give people a chance to enjoy views from the corridor and take photographs before it opens to traffic. The flyover is nearing its final stage, and over 99% of the work is complete. The remaining work needs two rain-free days, as it includes some painting work and a small section that still needs hotmixing.
