The Bengaluru airport has just launched “Connections by BLR” to make life easier for passengers with connecting flights. This service is all about making transfers smooth, fast, and comfortable. It focuses on three main things: ease, efficiency, and a better overall experience. The airport has teamed up with airlines and other partners to make moving between terminals simple and stress-free.
Passengers will now find dedicated transfer desks at different terminals, ready to offer help and guidance. Clear colour-coded signs in blue and yellow make it easy to find your way without getting confused.
The airport has also set up special transfer zones to make moving between flights quicker. For passengers switching terminals, there’s a complimentary shuttle service with short and predictable wait times, so tight connections aren’t a worry.

Relax At The Airport
Passengers can rest in lounges while waiting. There are also shops and food outlets in the transfer areas. For short breaks, sleeping pods are available. If you have a longer layover, you can stay at transit hotels in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. These boutique-style rooms let passengers stay comfortably without leaving the airport.
International transfer traffic at BLR Airport has grown over 30% compared to last year. Currently, transfers make up around 15% of total passenger traffic, and this is expected to rise to 20% by 2026.
