A food delivery manager has won the hearts of social media users after a touching interaction with a customer in Pune that went viral on Instagram. Shared by user Ajaypal Rathore, the video shows a speech-and-hearing-impaired delivery partner calmly handing over a food order with a smile, attracting praise online for his determination and resilience. Deaf & Mute Delivery Partner Wins Heart Online
In the video, Ajaypal explained that he had gone down to his apartment lobby to collect his order after the security guard informed him that the delivery partner could neither speak nor hear. Like in many residential societies, the delivery partner was not allowed to use the lift late at night and had to wait downstairs.
Reflecting on the encounter, Rathore praised the executive for navigating Pune’s busy roads and completing deliveries despite the challenges he faces. Sharing the video, he wrote, “I ordered food today. Went down to collect it; security dada told me the delivery partner can’t speak or hear. He was still out there, navigating Pune traffic, reading the address, delivering with a smile on his face. Same job. Same chaos. Same pressure as anyone else on that bike”.
He further stated that the experience made him reflect on how the delivery executive continued to do his job with determination despite the obstacles. “Made me sit with a question: what’s stopping the rest of us? We’ve got every sense working, every excuse running out. Respect where it’s due,” he wrote.

Rathore also shared that he briefly communicated with the delivery executive by typing a message on his phone’s Notes app before ending the interaction. Although he did not learn much about the man’s personal journey, he expressed a wish that their paths would cross again.

As soon as he posted the video, it quickly went viral with many appreciating the delivery partner’s effort to work. One user wrote, “Beautifully put !! Its a great reminder to stop wasting our potential and start grinding seeing the resilience of these specially abled individuals who choose action over excuses everyday !!”
