Here’s Why You Should Attend This Famous Aarti
The Chinese Ambassador also spoke about the connection between China and India. The visuals shared by him showed thousands of people gathered on the banks of the River Ganga while priests performed the rituals. You should know that the most famous Ganga Aarti takes place at Dashashwamedh Ghat. But the ritual is now performed at other ghats across Varanasi as well, including Assi Ghat, Rajendra Prasad Ghat, Raj Ghat, and Kedar Ghat.
According to the official website of Kashi, the aarti usually begins just after sunset and lasts for about 45 minutes. People gather on the steps of the ghats, while some watch the aarti from boats on the river. So, if you ever visit Varanasi, make sure you do not miss this ceremony. It’s truly beautiful.
