Recently, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, was invited by Dhurandhar’s Aalam Bhai, aka Gaurav Gera, to his Mumbai house for a lovely Sunday Brunch. While the duo had fun chit-chatting over life, his acting career, and life after Dhurandhar, they also played a fun game of Never Have I Ever. Read on to know more about it.
Gaurav Gera On Life After Dhurandhar
When asked if things changed after Dhurandhar, he said, “Yes, the respect metre has gone up as an artist.” He said as an artist, the weightage has definitely gone up, “which I needed badly,” he stated. In a fun game of Never Have I Ever, he was asked if he had ever been treated differently on set as an artist. To which he replied, “Differently, as in badly? I have been treated very nicely. He also reflected on how he likes to live a private life away from the spotlight.
Kamiya also asked him whether Dhurandhar has been the best part of his career so far. To which Gaurav said, “See, it is definitely the biggest, and it is how I wanted it.” He further stated how there have been highs in his life with other shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. Then, Chutki Shoppkeeper, which changed things for him.

Gaurav Gera Plays Never Have I Ever
In another fun question, Kamiya asked Gaurav, “Never Have I Ever been typecast,” to which he replied, “I have, main abhi bhi typecast hi chal raha hoon.” Further, Kamiya also appreciated him for how he plays every character so convincingly that people get attached to the characters. She also mentioned how, with his Dhurandhar character Aalam, he was so convincing that people now believe that he is Aalam.
