Indian Cricketer Rishabh Pant Hospitalised After A Car Crash. DDCA Secretary Shares His Health Status

Rishabh Pant was travelling from Delhi by road to visit his hometown in Uttarakhand. Unfortunately, he met with a terrible accident in Roorkee today morning and was rushed to Saksham hospital immediately. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter was driving his Mercedes GLE early in the morning today at about 5:30 am and during his journey, the car hit the divider on the Delhi Narson border. The car crashed badly and also got tossed a few times and caught fire, according to various reports.

Rishabh Pant Was Shifted To Dehradun Later

Right after the car crash, the Indian cricketer was admitted to the Saksham hospital. Later, he was taken to Max Hospital in Dehradun, according to Hindustan Times. Police sources added that he suffered injuries on his hand, head, bruises on his back, and a ligament injury on his right ankle.

According to a report by the Times Of India, police sources added that Rishabh might have fallen asleep while he was driving as there was no fog to disturb the journey.

DDCA Released Updates On The Cricketer’s Health

Siddharth Sahib Singh is the secretary of the Delhi and District Cricket Association and he shared the current health status of Rishabh Pant. According to the update, the wicketkeeper-batter is now in stable condition and is under proper treatment.

Rishabh was last seen playing in the India XI in the test against Bangladesh held last week. His contribution in crucial moments has been impeccable and it was no different in the second test match of the series. He aggregated a splendid knock of 93 runs in the first innings and helped India to be on track to not only win the match but also clinch the series against the host.

We hope Rishabh gets back on the field healthier, steadier, and stronger very very soon. We are looking forward to seeing him back on the field hitting boundaries very soon.
