Indian Railways Changes Timings Of 182 Trains From Oct 1 Onwards; Here’s The Revised Timetable

Indian Railways have innumerable trains operating in the country and are used by almost everyone. However, there is an update in the train timings that you need to note, especially if you are travelling from October 1, 2023. The timings of some trains from Northern and North Eastern Railway will be changed and here are the details.

The Indian Railways is set to introduce the new All India Railways timetable as it has been fully prepared. On September 30, this new timetable containing a revised timetable for trains will be published. As a fact, 182 trains will have a 5-minute to 1-hour delay in their arrival and departure times.

The timetable contains revised timings of Northern and North Eastern Railway trains and will come into effect from October 1, 2023. In addition to the Northern and North Eastern Railway’s Delhi-Lucknow main line, there are 182 trains that run through Bareilly from the Bareilly-Chandausi branch line, Tanakpur-Kasganj, and Kasganj-Haldwani lines.

There are 62 trains working on a daily basis while other trains travel via Bareilly on 1 to 4 days a week. Time has also been set aside in the timetable, which will be put into effect on October 1, to run a new train between Lucknow and Anand Vihar.

The Speed Of Trains Has Increased With Addition Of New Stops!

According to reports, the speed of several trains has been enhanced and new stops have also been approved in the planned timetable. Moreover, an e-timetable has also been set up by the Railways. In fact, two new train operations have also been suggested!

A specific window of time has been allocated in the revised timetable proposal for the Moradabad Railway Division to operate a new train from Bhavnagar to Haridwar. Many trains will run at an increased speed and as a result, there will be a 2 to 1-hour adjustment in the scheduling of long-distance trains travelling through Moradabad.

Some trains now stop for one to two minutes less when they arrive at less significant stations.
