Verification Is A Must While Online Ticket Booking

IRCTC has asked the passengers to first verify their number and E-mail ID on the portal and then begin booking tickets. This process is necessary as a lot of users went inactive during the pandemic. The rest procedure is to select your train, date and book tickets accordingly online. You will receive a confirmation message on your registered number and a confirmation mail on your registered E-mail Id.

Volume Low During Night Journey

The Railway board received a lot of complaints about passengers talking loudly or listening to music or watching shows late at night on the train disturbing others’ sleep. The Board has decided that no passengers are allowed to talk loudly on cellular phones after 10 pm or listen to music loudly during the night.

Book Window Tickets

Additionally, the Railway Board is planning to install unreserved coaches in trains. With this change, passengers will have the option of booking window tickets. As a result of the Corona cases being reported in the country, unreserved coaches were removed from the trains in March 2020.

Lights Have To Be Turned Off

There were also many complaints about the lights too. In accordance with the new rule, all lights except for the night light must be turned off when travelling at night. The authorities are empowered to take action upon receiving such complaints. With this, the nighttime work will be peaceful for the staff of checking, RPF, electrician, catering, and maintenance.
