Passengers can use it free of cost for the first half an hour following which, it will be chargeable. The total data usage on these stations is 97.25 Terabytes per month approximately. Indian Railways Will Introduce Air-Hostess Like Attendants

Indian Railways is leaving no stone unturned to improve the experience of its passengers. In yet another development, the Railways is now planning to introduce air hostess-like attendants to care for passengers in its premiums trains. So, if you are travelling in premium trains like Vande Bharat, Gatimaan, and Tejas Express, you can soon avail the service of the attendants. Both men and women will be hired as railway crew.

Passengers Can Change The Boarding Station

Indian Railways has been making headlines for its new and exclusive offerings. However, they have now come up with the best deal that travellers could have ever asked for. Travellers will now be able to change the travel dates without cancelling their tickets in case of change of travel plans. This means that travellers will now be able to prepone or postpone their tickets and also change the boarding destination.Passengers can change the boarding station by applying in writing to the station manager or visiting a computerised reservation centre 24 hours before travel. Travellers will now also be able to extend their journey by contacting the ticket checking before or after reaching the destination.

Travellers Can Prepone Or Postpone Tickets

Travellers will be able to prepone or postpone their tickets only once. To change the travel date, passengers can go to the reservation office and surrender the ticket 48 hours before the departure of the train. According to Indian Railways, the date of travel on these tickets is the same category as the prescribed fee. Travellers also have the option to prepone and postpone tickets in the higher category or for the same destination. In addition, railways also allow passengers to change their travel boarding station and upgrade their tickets to a higher category. While some features are applicable for offline tickets, others are available for both offline and online tickets.
