Whether you’re travelling in local trains or long-distance ones, crowds on Indian trains are inescapable. However, you may be surprised to learn that India is not the only country that deals with overcrowded trains. An Indian YouTuber in China recently shared his experience of travelling in an overcrowded train in China. The visuals he shared seemed eerily similar to the video of overcrowded Indian trains that have gone viral in the past.

If you thought that India was the only country with overcrowded trains, you’ve got another thing coming. In the video which is now making rounds on X (formerly known as Twitter), an Indian YouTuber, who goes by the moniker Nomad Shubham, shows what it’s like inside a Chinese train.
The video showed passengers sitting on any flat surface they could find. Many people were even sitting on the bathroom floor and even crowded around the bathroom. While taking the camera through the compartments of the train, the YouTuber even talked about how the scenes were giving him the deja vu of India.
At one point, he found a passenger sleeping under the seat of the train. Yes, you read that right, under the train’s seat! The YouTuber said that the only two differences he found were that the train was air-conditioned and that the doors were closed so no one was hanging from the doors.
This Is How The Netizens Reacted To This Video Of The Train
The train is clean the passengers aren’t using pan gutkha to stain the train. No one seems to be throwing plastic waste anywhere they seem fit.

The video took many people by surprise and they expressed their astonishment in the comments section. A few commenters pointed out that though the trains in China were overcrowded, they were not dirty.
Their general class seats look better than our 1st AC

Not a wrapper or stain was in sight. Some even shared that the passengers were relatively disciplined and were not chewing tobacco.
But still no wrappers on the floor, clean and no gutka.
