Yamuna Authority has approved India’s FIRST Pod Taxi project’s revised DPR & Bid document
Construction work will start once the project is approved by the state government:

- This is an international transit system and will be connecting the Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) and Film City.
- The construction of this massive project has not begun yet. It will only start after the Uttar Pradesh government provides approval, according to a report by Live Mint.
- As of now, the Yamuna Authority has approved the revised DPR & Bid document of the project of the first pod taxi operating in India, according to The Uttar Pradesh Index.
- Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited has worked on the DPR of this extraordinary project.
- It is expected that it will take time till the end of 2024 for the completion of the pod taxi project.
- Also, it is estimated that the project will cost about ₹810 crore.
- Once this transportation service comes into action, about 37,000 commuters will be able to travel every day.

The Stations To Be Covered On This Journey:
The pod city will commute the passengers between the Noida International Airport in Jewar and Film City. Also, it will take these passengers to the industrial sector of UP. The route on the pod taxis will cover a total of 12 stations. According to a report by Finacial Express, the pod taxi route in UP will be about 12 km to 14 km.

- Apparel Park
- Handicraft Park
- MSME Park
- Sector 21
- Sector 29
- Sector 33
- Toy Park
