Yes, they have marked another industry first milestone with their announcement of the commencement of commercial flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport. Here’s all you need to know about this travel-related development coming in from Navi Mumbai.

IndiGo Announces Flights From NMIA

With the stellar partnership between IndiGo and Adani Airport Holdings Ltd., commercial flights have been announced from Navi Mumbai International Airport. This is a key driver for India, as it braces to become the third-largest aviation market by 2030. It’s worth mentioning that IndiGo will be operating 18 departure flights from NMIA. As a result, it has become the first airline to commit to operating from this airport during the start of commercial operations.

18 Daily Flights Announced Initially

As the airline announces 18 daily departures, it will cover over 15 cities from day one. As a result, this will increase to 79 departures, which will include 14 international departures by November 2025. Finally, it will build up to more than 100 daily departures, which will include 30 daily international departures by November 2026.
