IndiGo Flight From Varanasi Makes Emergency Landing At Delhi’s IGI Airport Due To Technical Issue

These days, you must have come across many news stories where passengers are causing needless nuisance on the flight. From peeing on other passengers to trying to open the flight door mid-air, there have been numerous instances. There have also been instances where, for various reasons, the flights have made emergency landings. Recently, an IndiGo flight from Varanasi made an emergency landing at Delhi’s IGI airport.

On Tuesday, an IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The flight flew from Varanasi and landed at the Delhi airport. The reason behind this emergency landing is a hydraulic issue.

The IndiGo flight 6E-2232 was carrying over 160 passengers. The flight was en route to Delhi from Varanasi. The flight had a hydraulic issue, and a full emergency was declared because of it. By far, there has been no emergency statement by IndiGo Airlines on this incident.

On Monday, an IndiGo flight witnessed an emergency landing at the Nagpur airport. The reason behind this was the health issues of a passenger.

Passenger Vomits Blood

On Monday, the Mumbai-Ranchi flight witnessed an emergency landing in Nagpur. The reason behind the incident was a medical emergency. An elderly male on the flight, aged 62 years old, started vomiting blood. 

The passenger on flight 6E-5093 subsequently passed away after vomiting blood on board. Considering the circumstances, the plane had to make an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport. The emergency landing took place at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur. 

Because it was a medical emergency, the person was offloaded from the flight and taken to KIMS Kingsway Hospital. He was declared dead on arrival. According to an article published by NDTV, the passenger was suffering from chronic kidney disease and tuberculosis.
