In yet another surprising turn of events, a video of someone distributing chai on an IndiGo flight is making rounds on the Interwebs. The video grabbed eyeballs because the person who was distributing the tea was not actually a crew member! Yes, you read that right! He is not a crew member, but just a random passenger! Understandably, this sparked a riot of jokes in the comments section with a number of people criticising the incident while others taking a more lighthearted approach to it!

A video was recently shared by an account that posts aviation-related videos, @aircrew.in. In the video, tea is being distributed to passengers. Now you may be wondering, what’s so special about tea being distributed on flights? Happens all the time and it’s a part of their job!
However, the person distributing the tea wasn’t a crew member at all! It was a passenger! A man, who seemed to be just another passenger on the flight, was distributing piping hot tea from a steel thermos flask to co-passengers in paper cups.
Understandably, this incited a number of inquiries in the comments section. The number 1 question on people’s minds was how was this allowed. Flights have strict policies regarding liquids in carry-ons and the fact they managed to get a thermos flask on flight left people flabbergasted.
This Is How Netizens Reacted To This Particular Video
While there were a number of people seething about the audacity of some passengers, some other passengers welcomed the change. One person commented that this is exactly what they want on flights and even asked the man to distribute Samosas next time!
Yet another commenter lamented the incident and said that flights will also now become the general compartment of trains.
