Next, it will calculate and inform the customer of the calorie intake. And then it shall also track nutritional choices. This app was recently launched in Chandigarh. Available free of cost, this app is a collaboration between CMR – National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad and three German universities.
The prototype of this app was launched in Chandigarh. It helps customers measure their personal food practices and adopt healthier lifestyle choices. It scans food on the plate and then calculates its calorie intake. NutriAIDE is built with artificial intelligence by incorporating image recognition technology. Customers can scan food it click a food picture and the app displays its nutritional value.

It Helps Promote Healthier & Sustainable Diets
The CEO of Calvry Wellness, Vineet Singh informed The Indian Express that this Indo-German AI app helps customers is transforming unsustainable and unhealthy dietary patterns. Where customers often consume processed food and excessive intake of salt, sugar, fat, calories and protein.
The next phase of NutriAIDE is to help customers set personal health goals. This includes diets that help lower greenhouse emissions and diversify among food groups. He further adds that their calorie intake will be adjusted as per their professional lifestyle and requirements. What makes NutriAIDE more intelligent is that it tracks the psychology behind food consumption.
