The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, is currently on a visit to the iconic South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Ahead of the big day of the opening of the Ram Mandir, the PM visited this beautiful South Indian state and even visited the very tip of the Indian subcontinent. Ahead of the opening of Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024, PM Modi visited Tamil Nadu. He received a warm and heartfelt welcome, especially from the people of Srirangam. He shared a video of the crowd which welcomed him with joy.

He also shared a slew of photos of him paying respects at the famous Sri Rangananathaswamy Temple. The caption along with the photos made it clear that he felt very blessed by visiting these temples.

He also visited the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple where he even interacted with the resident elephant. He said he prayed for the well-being of all Indians while at the temple.

Visited The Starting Point Of Ram Setu

Following the two temples, he visited the Arichal Munai which is the southernmost tip of India. It is also the point of the beginning of the legendary Ram Setu bridge. He even paid a floral tribute here.

Visiting this place just days ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple must have been special. What is more, he also visited another temple after that which is the Sri Kothandaramaswamy Temple. The pictures showed him receiving blessings at the temple.
