1. Extreme Heat Forecast for UAE
The NCM recently announced a warning for extreme heat in the UAE for today. It is expected that the country may sizzle under temperatures between 44°C and 49°C. In fact, coastal areas and islands might also experience heat.
2. Sharjah RTA Announces Temporary Closure Of A Road
Sharjah’s RTA recently announced a temporary closure of certain road stretches in the emirate. This is a part of the first phase of a major infrastructure development project. The affected areas are between Sheikh Abdulkarim Al-Bakri Roundabout to Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al-Mahmoud Roundabout (Al Zahra Street).
3. Abu Dhabi Sees Population Growth By 7.5%
According to a recent report, the population in Abu Dhabi has grown by 7.5 per cent. It has as a result, reached 4.14 million people! This data reflects the emirate’s continued growth and position as a hub for living, investment and work.

4. Saudi Students Win 6 Medals
At the unior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, six Saudi students achieved a new international milestone. They won six medals at the 29th edition of this competition. In case you’re wondering, this competition was held in North Macedonia from June 24 to 29.
5. Oman Air Joins Oneworld Alliance
Joining as the 15th member airline, guests will be able to make use of significant new benefits for its guests. This will in turn elevate the country’s position on the global map. It therefore offers seamless travel to 900 destinations.
