And, thankfully Dubai has a lot of places where you can indulge in the king of fruits. With International Mango Day coming up on 22 July we’ve scoured 5 mango dishes across Dubai for that sinful indulgence. Read on and tell us which one’s your favorite.
1. Mango Mocktail Menu At China Bistro Karama
Crafted by in-house mixologist at the Pan Asian Cuisine restaurant, China Bistro, the special limited period Mango Mocktail menu at their Karama unit guarantees to beat the heat. This summer special menu offers Mango Basil Mojito, Aam Panna, Spicy Mango Fizz, Mango Kaffir Lime Smoothie, Morning Bliss (a concoction of fresh mango pulp, mango juice, vanilla ice-cream & Coconut milk) and CB Ultimate (a concoction of fresh mango pulp, litchi, ginger and club soda). Only premium quality mangoes imported from India are used for this menu. Prices start from AED 16. The refreshing summer menu is available at China Bistro Karama.

2. Mango Festival at India Palace
India Palace, known for authentic Indian cuisine and award-winning hospitality, has introduced a very summer special ‘Mango Licious’ festival dedicated to this king of fruits. From Mango Rasmalai, Mango Ka Muzzafar to various drinks and desserts, there is a bit of everything on the menu. If mango is your weakness, then the range of desserts and drinks including Mango Falooda, Fresh Mango Lassi, Mango Ka Muzzafar, Mango Rasmalai at India Palace is your true calling.
The new Mango Licious menu is available across all 12 outlets in the UAE in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Prices of these specially curated summer special mango dishes start at AED 20.

3. Vegan Mango Panna Cotta At Just Vegan Jumeirah
Vegans, don’t fret, Dubai’s first private dining vegan restaurant, Just Vegan Jumeirah has launched a summer special dessert for its mango loving vegan customers. Relish the special vegan Mango Panna Cotta prepared with Seasonal Sweet Ripe mango purée with Vanilla & Coconut Cream. Priced at AED 47 AED.

4. Aam Panna At Dhaba Lane
Dhaba Lane, the urban roadside shack has introduced the desi mocktail, Aam Panna made from raw mangoes topped with cumin seeds. Priced at AED 18, this refreshing summer drink is a delicious welcome to the summer.

5. Hot Mango Rice Pudding At Epitome
If you love rice pudding and mango, then Epitome lets you enjoy both at one go. Epitome’s Hot Mango Rice Pudding is made with handpicked seasonal Mangoes sourced-from India. The mangoes are slowly cooked for 15 minutes along with sticky rice, coconut, jaggery and a pinch of happiness aka sugar. The dish is served with nuts sprinkled on top and is entirely vegan.
