While Bigg Boss enjoys a massive fan following, there are some who often argue that the controversial reality show is scripted. And this debate is never-ending. In the Curly Tales episode of Tere Gully Mein with Tejasswi Prakash, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, asked her if Bigg Boss is scripted. And her answer will shock you. Let’s find out!
Tejasswi Prakash On Bigg Boss Being Scripted
As Kamiya Jani and Tejasswi Prakash were having an enticing conversation on a Victoria ride, they stopped at Bachelorr’s to try Teju’s favourite food items. The paneer pizza, sitaphal shake, strawberry cream and chilli ice cream were home to many fiery conversations. Tejasswi Prakash tells us how Bigg Boss is a landmark in her life, and there are “Before Bigg Boss” and “After Bigg Boss” stories.
When Kamiya asks her if Bigg Boss was scripted, as many believe, she tells us that nothing is scripted, and the camera catches you the way you are. Although Teju didn’t understand Bigg Boss initially, she told us how she didn’t understand what talent to show on the reality TV show.
Bigg Boss Vs Khatron Ke Khiladi
Tejasswi Prakash says, “Back when I chose Khatron. I actually wanted to do a show where I could portray my talent. Also, I never really understood Bigg Boss.” At the same time, she tells us she didn’t go for Bigg Boss as she never really understood the show. The Naagin actress reveals how Bigg Boss needs you to be a lot more mentally strong. It was because when you do Khatron Ke Khiladi, you have your phone, live inside the hotel and go chill at parties and shopping. You have contact with the outside world.
For Bigg Boss, she says, “Bigg Boss is a lot more challenging. It wasn’t just a stunt that would get over in 3 minutes. Then I would get on a call with Mumma and cry that Mumma, I didn’t do a set. Or that I would go out to a mall. No, it was a lot tougher.” Tejasswi Prakash feels that reality shows challenge you so much that you don’t lose your mind and stay true to your authentic self.
What Did Tejasswi Prakash Do To Become A winner?
She tells us about people inside the house. Tejasswi shares that once you start doing well inside the house, the other contestants will start targeting everything you’re doing wrong. The housemates would emphasise that so that people would not like you so much. In the conversation, she tells us, “So when you have the need to put someone else down so that you’re seen is the saddest thing on the planet. So let everyone else around you try their level best and keep making the blunders they possibly can. You be you. And enjoy it because you’re right, and you know it.” She shone brightly despite how many people put her down on the show. Rightly said, you can’t hide anything inside the house. People will eventually see contestants as they are.
