The Indian government has curated an all-new Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) platform and launched it in September 2022. Bengaluru is the first city in India that got to utilise its facilities and the residents are using this platform since it came into action in September. After 7-8 months of its initiation, ONDC is finally gaining all the attention and people are very excited to use this platform to order food, groceries, cleaning essentials, and more.
Is ONDC The Biggest Competition Of Swiggy And Zomato?
Many users have started using the platform to place their orders and get their food items and products delivered to their doorstep. They have noticed a drastic difference in the total price of their orders on all the 3 platforms: ONDC, Swiggy, and Zomato. In comparison to the most used Swiggy and Zomato, the prices on ONDC are much lesser. Such significant margins are now the talk of the town.
Netizens took to social media platforms to discuss the new platform by the Indian government and whether it can enter the e-commerce industry exclusively and disrupt it.
