Sindhi Sunday Brunch At Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh’s Home
What happens when two Sindhis and one Punjabi meet up for brunch? Well, it turns into one of the most epic Sunday Brunch sessions! This Sunday, Kamiya Jani was invited by Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh for a delightful and authentic Sindhi meal. As soon as you step into their stunning home, the beautiful artwork is something you cannot miss.
As we sat down to talk to Jackky and Rakul, we couldn’t help but ask how their love story began. Jackky shared that they have been together for over five years now and they started off as best friends. “Our fundamentals are the same. For both of us, family is very important, fitness is very important, and health is very important. Individually, I am happy. Individually, she is happy. Together, we are happier,” he shared.
The couple shared that before they got together, they would hang out together with their friends every day for almost five months! They were also attracted to each other. However, Jackky did not make any move or tell Rakul about his feelings. In his own words, “I had so much love, respect, and regard for Rakul that I thought unless I am 100% sure that I want to marry her, I won’t make a move. I did not want to lose her as a friend over a fling.”
Did Rakul think about making the first one? “In my head, I am shy. I cannot be the one to make the first move. Also, you don’t know what the guy’s headspace is like,” she shared her side. So, how did Jackky finally ask Rakul to be his girlfriend? Well, he more or less announced that she is his girlfriend to his sister and that’s how even Rakul got to know about her updated relationship status!
Couple Share Relationship Advice
While we were eating the delicious Sindhi Sunday Brunch, we asked Jackky and Rakul if they thought there was a right age to get married. “Till the time you’re not ready to get married in your head, don’t get married. There is no right or wrong. I would say that yes, girls start getting worried and worry about biological clocks. But age should not be a factor, a good parent should be,” feels Rakul Preet Singh.
According to Jackky, one should not get married unless they feel that the partner is a “value addition” to their life. The two also emphasised how insecurities can lead to the end of a relationship and how communication is important.
