After the resounding success of the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar, Jammu’s Sanasar is now home to an equally beautiful, if not massive tulip garden Inaugurated by J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on April 8, the tulip garden Sanasar has 2.75 lakh tulip bulbs of 25 different varieties.
After Srinagar, Now Jammu’s Sanasar Has A New Tulip Garden
The new tulip garden sits majestically in Sanasar in Jammu’s Ramban district. Spread across 40 kanals, it houses 2.75 lakh tulip bulbs of red, yellow, orange and pink hues. The lush green woods of Ramban district are replete with visitors waiting to catch a glimpse of the second tulip garden in the Union Territory. Sanasar, a charming village popular for small local lakes has a new must-visit tourist attraction in the recently-inaugurated tulip garden.

In a short span of time, this new tulip garden has already made a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors. Twitter is galore with pictures and videos of the Sanasar garden, a picturesque locale to bask in the glory of fresh blooms, majestic snow-capped mountains, clear blue skies and verdant greens.
Mussarat Zia, an ex-journalist tweets about the future of this tulip garden. He shares that this site will soon aesthetic fencing, storage-cum grading facilities and eco-friendly washrooms.
