The Curly Tales team had the pleasure of visiting Jasleen Royal’s abode to enjoy a hearty homecooked meal with the South Indian heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda and North India’s beauty Radhikka Madan. Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani indulged in a very fun and interesting conversation with the trio where they shared personal anecdotes and their experiences working on the period drama music video.
Jasleen Royal Denied Entry To A Club
Jasleen shared how she convinced Vijay to participate in the music video, ‘Sahiba’. She reached out to him with the song, while Vijay was listening to Jasleen’s ‘Heeriye’ on a loop. Moved by its soulful melody Vijay agreed to be part of the project. The singer-songwriter also recalled how she was once denied entry to a club because the bouncer doubted she was of legal age. She tried to convince him that she was of legal age. Yet, the bouncer refused to believe her. Finally, Jasleen asked the bouncer to Google her and she was allowed entry.
Jasleen’s journey in the music industry has been marked by her unique voice and compelling compositions. Her dedication and passion have led to collaborations with prominent artists and actors, further establishing her presence in the industry.
Love, Relationships and Music Video
During the conversation, Vijay and Radhikka mentioned they commended Jasleen’s vision and the collaborative atmosphere on set. It was also revealed it helped both of them to get into the skin of the character. The conversation also touched upon broader topics like love and relationships and their insights. The brunch not only celebrated the launch of the music video ‘Sahiba’ but also showcased the warmth and connection shared among them.
