Soon, you can go camping in Dubai’s highest peak! Jebel Jais will soon be home to a brand new eco-friendly ‘Luxury Camp’ project, 650 metres above sea level, complete with break-taking views of the Hajar mountains.

What’s It?

The luxury camp will have a total of 47 villa tents, offering one bedroom suites for couples and three bedroom suites for families. All villa tenets are equipped with a private pool.

That’s not all! The camp will also be well-equipped with amenities including a kid’s play area, heated pools, spa, wellness centre, and a restaurant. The eco-friendly villa will also employ the latest techniques to conserve energy, minimize usage of water and will also have a waste collection program to preserve the ecological balance of the mountains.

While we aren’t sure when the project will be open to the public, we’re pretty sure, this one is a must-go!

What Else?

Meanwhile, Jebel Jais is the perfect place for thrill seekers. The mountain is decked with a new skating rink, which lets you go ice skating at a height of 1,300 metres above sea level. The ice rink is open to all above 3 years of age.

Adventure junkies can fly through the longest zip line in the world. You’ll be passing over enthralling views of the mountains and gliding past the rocky terrain. The Jebel Jais flight is a thrill-seeking adventure sport that will take you atop the country’s largest mountain peak from a launch pad.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking at camping sites in Dubai, here’s where you must head.
