Relish Authentic Thali For Just ₹199

If you wish to try Odia cuisine in Mumbai, we have found the most perfect and probably the only place in Mumbai for you. Jagannath Bhog, an authentic Odia restaurant, is now on Mira Road, which will actually teleport you to Odisha. 

One of the biggest attractions at this restaurant is its Limited Odia Thali, which is just ₹199. Yes, you read that right. This limited thali includes 8 items and is fulfilling enough at such a minimal cost. 

Limited Thali includes:

  • 5 puris or chapati
  • Jeera Rice
  • Vegetable (any 2)
  • Dal Fry
  • Kheer
  • Tamatar Khatta
  • Papad
  • Salad

For those who do not know, Tamatar Khatta is a traditional tangy tomato dish that is generally prepared in temples as bhog and also at home during special occasions. The only difference is that the version served in temples does not have garlic and onions.

Limited And Unlimited Thali Options

Apart from their famous limited Odia thali, they also have an unlimited thali, which serves 21 authentic Odia dishes for just ₹399. The best part? This unlimited thali is served on a banana leaf in the most authentic way, as the server, one by one, places the dishes on the leaf. 

This includes Ukda rice, mitha khichdi, tamatar charu, Sajana Chuin Besara, Badi chura, Khirmohana, and more Odia dishes. For people who do not know, Khirmohana is basically Odia Roshogulla. On weekdays, which are from Monday to Friday, you can easily avail a 20% discount on this thali. 

They also have Unlimited Pakhala Thali for just ₹299 on a pre-order basis. Pakhala is fermented rice with curd served with cucumber and green chillies. This thali includes gulab jamun and some other Odia dishes.

They also serve unlimited Jain thali for just ₹399. This thali includes Dalma, Parwal Besan Tarkari, Moong Masala, Santula, Paan, and more. This thali includes 20 Odia dishes, but the Jain version.
