Journalist Calls Early Morning Flights From Delhi Airport T3 A “Nightmare”; Shares DigiYatra Doesn’t Matter

The answer to “How long is too long?” is very uncertain while waiting at airports to catch a flight. Passengers often slam airlines and airports for making them wait for hours for necessary checks and clearance. This time, a journalist ranted about the long queues at Delhi Airport’s T3.

Journalist Complained About “Crawling Snaking Queues” At Delhi Airport T3

Journalist Smita Sharma took to the X (formerly Twitter) platform to share her experience of catching a flight from Delhi Airport Terminal 3. T3 was crammed with passengers waiting to complete all the mandated steps before boarding their flights. As shown in the video, queues of flyers were standing for their turn.

We all know DigiYatra’s key purpose and its effects to ease the process of identifying passengers at key checkpoints. However, the system did not help to that effective extent here. Smita Sharma shared, “DigiYatra or non-DigiYatra (am here) doesn’t matter.”

She reached the airport at 5 AM for her early morning flight. The journalist updated Netizens stating that she went only halfway through the long queue in 27 minutes. According to the X post, the process of security checks takes around 30 to 60 minutes for passengers travelling on domestic flights.

The journalist responded that it is a common situation at Delhi airport and she shared about a similar incident a week ago as well.
