Le Bois de Rosoy, which is in Rosoy-en-Multien, northern France, has taken glamping to the next level (quite literally so).
If being flanked by verdant greenery and being suspended 4 metres in the air is what you dream to do with your significant other, then you have to check out their treehouses. I came across their Spa Treehouse “Cocoon Plume” (which is pine-shaped treehouse) on Airbnb and my, oh, my it is gorgeous! Obviously, I can’t stop thinking about it.
Pine-Shaped Cocoon: Your Love Nest In The Woods
While reading about Rosoy, an interesting nugget of information caught my fancy. At this almond-shaped land of vast meadows and woods, places take names quite literally depending on its location and terrior. For example, the Vines, the Spreading Water and more. Le Bois translates to woods or forest.
And in those woods, you have uniquely-shaped wooden treehouses where love blooms and the views are unmatched. The property is spread across 9 hectares. In their Cocoon Plume category, the treehouse, in which you sleep (one that’s in the air), is shaped like a pine. How cute is that?!
Treehouse Comes With A Terrace, Private Jacuzzi And More
The treehouse is for two adults and comes with a terrace with wooden staircase. Up there, you will find a private Jacuzzi, which makes spa time cosy and extremely romantic. Your love nest aka the pine-shaped treehouse can be accessed from the terrace via a hanging net. Talk about adventure!
Inside you will find a round bed that makes the interiors all the more intimate. It has two portholes through which you can let nature in, gaze into the wilderness and share some unforgettable moments with your loved one. Plus, it has a rooflight (skylight) through which you can stargaze right from your bed!
Breakfast Hampers, Amenities And Meals
Now you may be wondering, what about washrooms and other amenities? For that they have a small cabin on the ground. Yes, every time you need to answer nature’s call or grab a snack, you have to step out of your cocoon, cross the hanging net, take the wooden stairs and come down. Sounds quite daunting but is totally doable!
When you stay here, you also get an artisanal hamper full of local goodies like pastries, jams, fruit juices, and more. You can have that at the sheltered dining area. Just imagine how picturesque and serene the mornings would be here.
