Bengaluru’s The Rameshwaram Cafe might be the fairly newest kid on the block in comparison to heritage giants like Vidyarthi Bhavan and Mavalli Tiffin Room (MTR). But it’s fair to say that the ghee-loving brand has already become an iconic spot in the city, having hosted celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Vikas Khanna, and recently, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, who “highly recommends” it.

Taking to his official social media handles, the Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, had a food recco for his followers. The politician’s work trip to Bengaluru included a delicious detour to The Rameshwaram Cafe. Sharing a glimpse of his experience, Scindia was pampered with a lavish spread of Rameshwaram Cafe’s signatures.

Adorned on his table were Ghee Podi Idlis, Kesari Bath, Masala Dosa, Filter Kaapi, amongst other dishes. A server prepared a filter kaapi table-side for the politician. Scindia was impressed with the strong brew and exclaimed that it was “very good”. He tried his hand at pouring the hot coffee into his tumbler, the Bengaluru way, and enjoyed the feat.
