One of the successful actors, Kajol, mesmerises us with her acting. But what you see is not always true. Behind the serious and intense acting, is a Kajol who loves to talk. On the episode of Curly Tales Sunday Brunch with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, she opens up about her thoughts on being quiet and her exact feelings when she doesn’t get to talk.
First Job And Hilarious Reason To Leave
While talking to Kamiya, Kajol speaks about her experience of her job as a salesgirl. She describes how spending half an hour alone with another girl in a quiet shop with no one else to talk to was a punishment. At 9:31 am, a customer arrived and that was her moment of relief. Sadly, the manager told Kajol to sit in a corner while she handled the customer. She confessed her love for books and thought about working in a library. However, her love for talking won as she couldn’t have survived in a silent zone.

The Biggest Punishment For Kajol
According to her, if someone gave an option between non-veg food and talk, she would choose to talk. She further cleared her feelings about the wellness retreats where people don’t speak. She felt like being in jail. She explained this with her experience on a twenty-four-hour flight to Los Angeles. Obviously, she was flying in business class and had no one to talk to. The air hostess was all poised. At one point, she thought of telling the hostess to just read the menu to her. The need to hear another voice was evident in her speech. After landing in Los Angeles, she had to wait for another two hours in the immigration queue. The experience was like death for her.
