Kajol shared titbits about her boarding school experience in Panchgani and even her first job as a sales girl. By the way, that stint lasted only for 45 minutes. Read on to know more.

Kajol Shared Her Hilarious Summer Job Experience

In an interview with Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, Kajol shared her experience on her first job. No, it wasn’t any film set. Rather, it was a role of a shop-girl. It all started with her mother, actor Tanuja, insisting Kajol find a job as she was sitting at home during her summer holidays. Kajol agreed with her wholeheartedly and decided to find a job for pocket money as well.

One day, she came across a shop with a poster ‘Shopgirl wanted’. It was a shop selling kids’ clothes. So, Kajol enquired and applied for the job. She instantly got the job and the manager told her to arrive at 9 am the next day.  She was told to sit at the shop. After just 10 minutes of sitting at the shop, Kajol starts getting restless. “My toe starts tapping. After 10 minutes, my hands start tapping the table. Aur koi nahin aa raha hai dukaan mein. She is also looking at me, I’m also looking at her”, says Kajol.

She Left The Job In Just 45 Minutes

While the manager was doing her inventory, there were no customers around, and Kajol got tired of the silence in the shop. It seemed like a punishment for the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress. At 9:31 am, a customer walked into the shop and Kajol sprung up to help her. But the customer refused her help and asked her to sit. Kajol felt tired of no one talking to her and having to sit silently in a corner. “So, at 9:45 am I finally gave up this dream of having to be a shop-girl. I was done in 45 minutes. I am very instinctive and listened to my gut instinct”, says Kajol to Kamiya Jani.

Well, what do you think about the actor’s hilarious summer job experience? Boy, are we glad she hated her job and decided to become an actor!
