Kamiya Jani Joins CM Mohan Yadav For Sunday Brunch, Talks About Politics, Early Life & MP’s Future

Over some delicious Madhya Pradesh delicacies, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met the Honourable Chief Minister of MP, Shri Mohan Yadav. At his beautiful home in Bhopal, we spoke about his early life, his journey in politics, and his vision for the future of Madhya Pradesh. Over a delicious Sunday Brunch, we also talked about how the state has been progressing in every sector, be it tourism, education, wildlife conservation, spirituality, or more. Under Mohan Yadav’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh has been developing steadily. Let’s take a glimpse at how everything went down with the CM.

Tour Of His Beautiful House

Kamiya Jani got an exclusive home tour of Mohan Yadav’s home, and it reflects simplicity and deep religious roots in every corner. While exploring the house, she saw that it had a cowshed (Gaushala), a temple, a spacious garden, and a stunning lake view. With a Gaushala at his residence, he follows his childhood teachings of taking care of Gau Mata and aims to double milk production in Madhya Pradesh, so that farmers can rely on dairy alongside farming for their livelihood.

He treated Kamiya to staple dishes from MP, including the all-time favourite Poha-Jalebi, Ragi Balushahi, and more. When Kamiya asked whether Poha-Jalebi originated in Indore or Bhopal, he replied smartly, “Ye toh hamare Madhya Pradesh ka hi hai.” He answered like a true chief minister, giving credit to the entire state of Madhya Pradesh.

He Aims To Protect The Wildlife

When Kamiya asked about one thing that he loves about Madhya Pradesh, he replied, “Madhya Pradesh bohot hi samriddh hai. Hamare yaha cheetah hai jo poore Asia mein nahi hai, aur hamara jungle phal-phool hi nahi raha balki aabadi bhi badh rahi hai.” Twenty cheetahs were brought from Namibia and Africa, and now their population has doubled in the forest. One can also find a large number of tigers in MP, along with leopards, wolves, and vultures.

Not only this, but Mohan Yadav is also working to reintroduce turtles and reptiles in the Chambal River. ”Maano, aaj hum unke ande leke aate hai, 2-3 saal tak unhe tayar kiya jata hai or badme hum nadi me chodte hai. Is baar humne 100 se zyada chode hai aur mai khud gaya tha waha,’’ he said. No wonder MP’s wildlife conservation is among the best in the country, earning it the title of the Wildlife Capital of India.
