Karnataka’s Health Minister K Sudhakar stated that all late-night parties at star hotels and restaurants across the state will be banned to control coronavirus spread. Sharing this news in Kannada, he told DNA India, “All-star hotels and restaurants across the state have been directed to stop late-night parties from Thursday to prevent them from turning into super-spreaders of the pandemic.” This decision was taken after the state saw a record 760 new positive cases, including 488 fresh cases in Bengaluru.
