Karnataka Unveils KWIN City

The Chief Minister called KWIN City a ‘bold vision for the future.’ It aims to be a hub for cutting-edge research, education, and healthcare. KWIN City is strategically located. It is only 45 minutes away from Kempegowda International Airport. Major transport routes like National Highways 44 and 648, and the Bengaluru-Pune Greenfield Expressway connect it to key locations. This accessibility will attract both domestic and international businesses.

KWIN City is divided into several districts. Each of these districts focuses on a specific sector. The Knowledge District will host educational institutions, fostering collaboration between universities and industries. The Health District will focus on life sciences, aiming to become a healthcare hub in Asia. Major hospitals and medical institutions plan to establish themselves here.

These eco-friendly initiatives make KWIN City a model for future smart cities. The development is also designed to house 500,000 residents.

The project aims to attract businesses from around the world, positioning Karnataka as a preferred destination for knowledge-driven industries. The city’s design and focus on innovation are likely to strengthen the state’s reputation in technology and research.
