House hunting is a strenuous job. Seeing tons of apartments and flats and then finding the right one is a difficult task. Even Kartik Aaryan was recently on a hunt for an apartment in Mumbai. And finally, his house hunt came to an end as the actor rented Shahid Kapoor’s sea-facing home in Juhu. Shahid and his family lived there until they shifted to their new abode last year. Kartik is paying a whopping amount as the rent of the apartment. Let’s take a look at the deets!
Kartik Aaryan Is Paying THIS Amount To Rent Shahid’s Apartment

Spread over an area of 3,681 sq ft, Kartik Aaryan is paying a rent of ₹7.5 lakhs for the penthouse in Praneta Building. The property comes with the most picturesque views of Juhu beach, two parking spots, and beauty on every corner. Shahid Kapoor purchased this apartment a few years back in 2014. This house has witnessed some of Kapoor’s special moments such as Mira and Shahid tying the knot and welcoming their kids.

According to a report by zapkey.com, the rent of ₹7.5 lakhs will increase at a rate of 7 per cent every year. Kartik will need to pay ₹8.02 lakhs in 2024 and ₹8.58 lakhs in 2025.
Mira Kapoor & Mala Tiwari Signed The Deal Of This Luxurious Penthouse

To rent the luxurious property, Kartik paid a security deposit of ₹45 lakhs. It was on 12 January 2023, when the registration and stamp duty was completed. Mira Kapoor and Kartik’s mum, Mala Tiwari signed the papers. Before renting this sea-facing apartment, Kartik was living in Versova. He bought the property back in 2019 for ₹1.60 crores.

The property is simply magnificent and we saw many glimpses and snippets of the penthouse while Mira and Shahid posted pictures and videos on their social media handles.
As for Shahid and his fam, they shifted to a luxurious duplex in Prabhadevi. Kapoors purchased it for ₹55.60 crores and the apartment looks absolutely breathtaking. Shahid and Mira often share small sneak peeks of their duplex on social media.
